Alexandre de Ázara — Banco Modal (Rio de Janeiro)
Lecture: “2014 Economic Outlook”
Chief Economist at Banco Modal. Formerly, Alexandre de Ázara was Chief Economist at Itaú Asset Management, where he directed the national and international analysis teams. From 2008 to 2010, he was partner and Chief Economist at BRZ Investimentos, responsible for this company and for GP Investimentos. From 1998 to 2008, he was Chief Economist with ItaúBBA where, during these 10 years, he developed the institution’s analysis department. Formerly, he worked at GAP Asset Management, from 1996 to 1998. Alexandre de Ázara graduated in Economics from UFRJ, with a master’s degree from FGV-SP.


Breno Guerbatin — Studio Investimentos (Rio de Janeiro)
Lecture: “Investment Picks: In-depth Analysis”
Member of Studio Investimentos’ Investment Committee and co-portfolio manager of Studio FIC FIA, which returned 58.8% since inception, at the end of 2009 (until the end of January, 2014), contrasting with a loss for the Ibovespa Index of 29.9% during the same period. In 2009, Breno Guerbatin was a manager with TV Globo. From 2008 to 2009, he was an equity analyst and member of the Managing Committee of BNY Mellon ARX. From 2005 to 2008, he was partner and Investment Officer of Brazil Energy, a private-equity boutique focused on energy and infrastructure. From 2002 to 2005, he was an investment analyst and a fund manager at Opportunity Asset Management. Breno Guerbatin graduated in Production Engineering from UFRJ and has a postgraduate Degree in Corporate Law from FGV-RJ.


Delano Franco — Ada Investments (Rio de Janeiro)
Lecture: “Behavioral Finance and Value — A Systematic Approach”
Senior Partner of Ada Investments, a New York-based investment platform that provides equities-based asset allocation solutions. Delano Franco has served as Managing Director and Partner of Brookfield Gestão de Ativos, Co-Chief Investment Officer of BNY Mellon ARX Investimentos, where he has been Executive Director of Mellon Brasil and Managing Director of BNY Mellon Asset Management, and a macroeconomic analyst at Banco Icatu. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a M.S. degree, both in Economics, from PUC-RJ.


José Marcio A. G. de Camargo — Opus Gestão de Recursos (Rio de Janeiro)
Lecture: “A Challenging Scenario: Risks and Opportunities for 2014”
Economist at Opus Gestão de Recursos. Before that, José Marcio de Camargo was a partner with Tendências Consultoria. He holds a PhD in Economics from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and is an Economics Professor at PUC/Rio, heading its Economics Department.


Leonardo Deeke Boguszewski — JMalucelli Investimentos (Curitiba)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
CEO at JMalucelli Investimentos, where he helped create both equity funds managed by the company, focusing on dividends and small caps. From June 2008 to December 2013, their gains were 71.7% and 60.6%, contrasting with a 20.8% loss for the Bovespa Index. In 2012, he worked at the mergers and acquisitions department at UBS Investment Bank in New York. Leonardo Boguszewski graduated in Economics from FAE Business School and holds an MBA, with distinction, from New York University Stern School of Business, where he also earned the designations Beta Gamma Sigma and Stern Scholar.


Marcelo Audi — Value Investor (São Paulo)
Lecture:
“Value Investing in an Environment of Continuous Economic Disappointment”

Currently structuring a value-focused investment fund, Marcelo Audi has more than 20 years of experience working in the Brazilian stock market. From 2007 to 2013, he directed Santander’s broker-dealer, where he was also head of equity research and Brazilian Equities Strategist. Formerly, he was founding partner with Quadrante Investimentos, a financial advisory company, where he was responsible for investment strategy from 2003 to 2006. He was head of equity research for Brazil at Merrill Lynch from 1997 to 2002 and at Banco Patrimônio, where he as a partner, from 1992 to 1997. Marcelo Audi graduated in Business Administration from EAESP-FGV.


Marco Antônio Cauduro —  Arbela Investimentos (São Paulo)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
Founding partner and portfolio manager with Arbela Investimentos, where he is responsible for the investment decisions and leads the team in originating, executing, and monitoring the investment ideas in Brazilian companies. Marco Cauduro was in the Boards of Directors of Fibam S.A. and Electro Aço Altona S.A. and an alternate member of the Board of Directors of Viver S.A. He was one of the founders and portfolio manager at Cox Capital Management and also one of the founders and head of research at Tarpon Investimentos. Before that, he worked at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. Marco Cauduro holds a degree in Economics from Universidade de São Paulo (FEA/USP) and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.


Paulo Weickert — Apex Capital (São Paulo)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
Founding partner with Apex Capital, an independent investment management company focused exclusively on equities, with a strong compromise with its investment process and with fundamental analysis. He is responsible for the analysis team and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. With 10 years of professional experience, he was a partner at Quest Investimentos, where he was a stock analyst from 2008 to 2011. Formerly, he was a member of Santander’s team. Paulo Weickert graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and, in 2010, was awarded the CFA — Chartered Financial Analyst — designation.


Tiago Guitián dos Reis — Set Investimentos (São Paulo)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
Founding partner with Set Investimentos, Tiago Reis works since 2003 with business analysis and portfolio management. He graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas de São Paulo.
