Antenor Gomes Fernandes — STK Capital (Rio de Janeiro)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
Founding partner and CIO at STK Capital. From 2008 to 2010, Antenor Fernandes was vice president of Banco Safra in São Paulo, responsible for the bank’s Wealth Management and Private Banking divisions. From 2004 to 2008, he was head of Safra Asset Management in New York. From 1999 to 2004, he was responsible for the equity and the funds divisions of Safra National Bank of New York. From 1997 to 1998, he worked as an equity analyst at Paribas bank in New York. From 1991 to 1995, he worked in the Corporate Finance department of Unibanco in São Paulo. Antenor Fernandes graduated in Economics (1990) from Universidade Candido Mendes, in Rio de Janeiro, and holds an MBA (1997) from Columbia University, in New York.


Flavio Sznajder — Bogari Capital (Rio de Janeiro)
Opening Lecture: “Investment Case — Anatomy”
Founding partner with Bogari Capital and manager of Bogari Value FIA, an equity fund that obtained from November 2006 (still as a Brazilian investment club) until November 2014 gains of 1,319.9% — which contrast with the 37.0% return of the Ibovespa during the same period. Formerly, Flavio Sznajder was member of the Finance Committee with Telemar Participações, Investment Officer with Andrade Gutierrez Telecomunicações, member of the Investment Committee with infrastructure fund AG-Angra, member of the Board of Directors with TG Agro ethanol plant, member of the Board of Directors with Pegasus Telecom and senior associate with Booz-Allen & Hamilton and Gradus Management Consultant. He received an MSc in Business Administration from Coppead-UFRJ and a B.S. in Engineering from PUC-RJ.


Gilbert Uzêda Stivanello — Grupo Graham (Rio de Janeiro)
Lecture: “Investing Abroad: The Approach of an Individual Investor”
Member of Grupo Graham, a Brazilian group of investors who follow fundamental analysis focusing on value and who, since 2004, exchange information on their investments. As an individual investor, Gilbert Stivanello has a relevant share of his equity holdings outside of Brazil, having started his overseas investments in 2007. For ten years he has been a police official in Rio de Janeiro and currently is the Director for Institutional Relations at PCERJ. Gilbert Stivanello holds a Law degree from PUC-Campinas and a postgraduate degree in Public Safety Management from FGV-RJ.


Luis Nogueira — Studio Investimentos (Rio de Janeiro)
Lecture: “Investment Pick — In-depth Analysis”
Equity analyst with Studio Investimentos. From 2008 to 2013, Luis Nogueira was an equity analyst and a member of the Investment Management Committee at BNY Mellon ARX. From 2006 to 2008, he was an analyst at Ciano Investimentos. Luis Nogueira graduated in Production Engineering from UFRJ and has a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from FGV-RJ.


Rodrigo Santos — Oceana Investimentos (Rio de Janeiro)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
Founding partner with Oceana Investimentos. Before cofounding Oceana, Rodrigo Santos was senior equity analyst at Meta Asset Management (from 2006 to 2008), responsible for the Banking and Consumer Sectors. Formerly, he worked in the Corporate Finance departments of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson (from 1998 to 2000) and Brascan (from 1993 to 1995), was an investment analyst at Banco Boavista (from 1995 to 1996) and a Financial Director at TopSports Ventures (from 2002 to 2006) and at Portal do Esporte (TV Globo, 2001). He has been a member of the Audit Committee at Abyara S.A. (2009). Rodrigo Santos graduated in Production Engineering from UFRJ and holds an MBA from London Business School.
