Daniel Grozdea — STK Capital (Rio de Janeiro)
Panel: “Equity Investing Abroad
Partner with STK Capital responsible for its global strategy. Formerly, Daniel Grozdea was an equity analyst covering the G7 in two New York hedge funds — Focus Capital and North Sea (currently 3G Capital). He has 17 years of experience in financial markets, initially as an analyst and later on as a manager of global assets. Daniel Grozdea graduated in Business Administration from Hofstra University in Nova York (1997) and has an MBA from Babson College in Massachusetts (2003).


Fabio Carvalho — Trópico Latin America Investments (São Paulo)
Opening Lecture: “Investment Pick — In-depth Analysis”
Founding partner with Trópico Latin America Investments, responsible for the areas of investment analysis and fund management. Formerly, he worked with FAMA Investimentos. He has 19 years of experience in financial markets, focusing on managing equity portfolios, and is responsible for managing, among others, the fund Trópico Value Master FIA. Fabio Carvalho received a graduate degree in Business from Mackenzie University and has an MBA in Financial and Actuarial Management from FEA-USP. He is a member of Apimec and IBGC (Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa).


Felipe Andrioli — Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo (São Paulo)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
Investment analyst with Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo’s long-only and long-biased strategies and member of Fundo Verde’s Brazilian equities team. Felipe Andrioli started his career in 2007, at Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from Unicamp and in Production Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris.


João Luiz Piccioni Junior — Petra Asset (São Paulo)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
João Piccioni is fund manager and head of equity analysis at Petra Asset, which he joined in 2007 as investment analyst. Formerly, he worked at Itaú, GM and Pirelli. João Piccioni holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from FEI, a Business Administration degree from EAESP-FGV, an MBA in Finance from USP, and a Master’s degree in Finance from EESP-FGV.


Paulo Belliboni — M Square Investimentos (São Paulo)
Lecture: “Investment Pick — In-depth Analysis”
Partner with M Square Investimentos since January 2012 and member of its Brazilian equities investment team since July 2010. Paulo Belliboni graduated in Economics from Insper.


Pedro Cezar de Andrade — IP Capital Partners (Rio de Janeiro)
Panel: “Equity Investing Abroad
Partner with IP Capital Partners since 2006 and member of Investidor Profissional’s investment team since 2002. Pedro Andrade graduated in Economics from PUC-Rio.


Pedro Luiz Cerize — Skopos (São Paulo)
Lecture:“Value In a World In Transformation”
Founding partner and asset allocation principal with Skopos, an equity-focused investment fund company. Formerly, he worked at Socopa, Banco Fator, and Banco BBA Creditanstalt — where he was head of the proprietary equities desk. Pedro Cerize has a Business Administration degree (with honors) from Fundação Getulio Vargas and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC. Currently, he is a Board member at Porto Seguro, Comgás and PDG.


Rafael Cota Maciel — Impacto Investimentos (Belo Horizonte)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
Co-responsible for analysis and equity fund management at Impacto Investimentos since 2011. Rafael Cota Maciel graduated in Social Communication with an emphasis in Publicity and Marketing from UNI-BH, has an MBA in Finance from IBMEC–MG and has a postgraduate degree in Capital Markets and Derivatives from PUC–MG. He teaches Capital Markets with an emphasis on Value Investing at Centro Universitário UNA and is a Board Member at Apimec-MG.


Sergio Fontana dos Reis — Set Investimentos (São Paulo)
Panel: “Equity Investing Abroad
Founding-partner with Set Investimentos, portfolio manager registered with the Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM), and fundamentalist investor for more than 15 years. Sergio Fontana dos Reis was in the Board of Directors of Sadia for 15 years. He was CIO and President of Fundação Attílio Fontana, a Brazilian pension fund. He graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidade de São Paulo.


Wagner Faccini Salaverry — Quantitas (Porto Alegre)
Panel: “Investment Picks”
Partner with Quantitas Participações SA and head of equity portfolio management at Quantitas Gestão de Recursos SA. Wagner Salaverry has more than 15 years of experience in financial and capital markets. Formerly, the managed the investment analysis team at Geração Futuro Corretora de Valores, having become a partner and managing director of the group’s controlling company in 2005. He has also been partner and managing director of Geração Futuro Banco de Investimentos, Geração Futuro Corretora de Valores and Geração Administração de Recursos, of which he was also the responsible person for managed investments under CVM [Brazil’s SEC-equivalent]. Wagner Salaverry is a portfolio manager and an investment analyst authorized with CVM and certified by Anbima. He graduated in Business Administration, with a focus in Finance, from UFRGS.


Werner Roger — Victoire Brasil Investimentos (São Paulo)
Lecture: “Small-Cap Investing in Brazil”
Partner with Victoire Brasil Investimentos and manager of its Small- and Mid-Cap Strategy. Werner Roger has 32 years of financial markets experience, 16 of them in asset management. He started his career as a credit analyst at Chase Manhattan, has worked as a credit analyst at Citibank, as an equity analyst at Corretora Citibank, and has become head of risk and credit analysis at Citibank Asset Management  —  later on performing the same role at Western Asset Management. Werner Roger graduated in Agronomy from Unesp-Universidade do Estado de São Paulo and is an Apimec member.
